This online class is for self-ambulatory persons with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons, and any other neurological or movement challenges. Best suited to those able to independently transfer to and from the floor.  Principles and strategies to enhance mobility, stability, strength, balance and symptom relief are addressed according to participant ability.  

All levels. Yoga teachers welcome.  Drop ins ok.  

Class is taught in the Iyengar tradition, adapted to the ability and needs of those in attendance.

By registering for the class you will receive an email with details to join the class.

Class timings are noted in the California time zone (Pacific Standard Time).
Check your world clock for time difference if you are unsure.

After you book a class, you may wish to add the class to your personal calendar.  By doing so, the class will then be saved in your calendar in your own time zone.  

Zoom links are created for online classes 2 weeks prior to the start of the specific class.  
If you've registered for a future class outside of the 2 week window, once the Zoom link is created, you can sign into your account to see the Zoom link.  You will also receive a reminder email with the Zoom link details to join the online class 24 hours in advance of the class and again 20-30 minutes before the class is scheduled to begin.

Before class, please:
  • Sign in 10 minutes prior to class
  • Have your home practice props near you
  • Make sure your mat and body fit into the screen (if possible)
To avoid distraction, all audio during class will be muted.

If possible, please have access to a sticky mat, 3 blankets, 2 bricks, a belt (or a towel), a bolster (pillows or a sofa cushion also works), wall space (in front of a locked door also works), a folding chair.
